Composition No. 2: Botanical Fragment
Part of our Studio Studies series, this set is an exploration of dimensional layering, finish interplay, and botanical abstraction in contemporary nail design.
Floral elevates press-on nails into wearable art through hand painted acrylic florals and dimensional 3D petals, combining both sculptural and painted techniques to create layered botanical depth. Soft stems and floral forms are rendered directly onto the nail, blending illustration with structure to achieve a refined, organic composition.
The design features a distinctive contrast between a soft, diffused “glass” matte finish and high-shine gloss accents that catch light at different angles. Beads are intentionally placed in a non symmetrical rhythm, guided by balance and movement rather than repetition, allowing each set to feel naturally composed rather than constructed.
Set on a long almond silhouette with a sheer pink base, Floral embodies softness, structure, and modern ornamentation in equal measure.
